My toddler drags this thing around all day pretending to call grandma. The magnifier screen keeps her busy for a solid ten minutes, which is a miracle at this age.
The beaded dial pad is what sold me, my son spins those little colored balls for ages and it's genuinely helping his pincer grip. The magnifier screen is a nice touch too, he holds it up to his eye like a real detective.
My daughter has been "calling grandma" on this thing for a solid hour, and the magnifier screen is her favorite part. The wooden dial spins smoothly and she's already learning her colors from the beads.
