The sliding sashes actually work, which my daughter noticed before I did, and she's been opening and shutting them for an hour. Four floors means two kids can play without fighting over space. The opening panels on each level make it easy to reach inside without tipping the whole thing.
I didn't expect the attic to be my favorite part, but it's got enough room that my daughter turned it into a little reading nook. Getting to all four floors through the opening panels makes play so much easier than reaching in blind.
