My nephew has been matching the penguin to its spot for a week straight and still cheers every time it clicks into place. The painted details on the leopard and orangutan are surprisingly crisp, and the board feels sturdy enough to survive a toddler throwing it off the table.
The wooden pieces are thick enough that my nephew can't bend or chew them, which was my main worry. He spends ages matching the leopard and panda to their spots on the board.
My 3-year-old can finally grip the pieces on her own, and the leopard and penguin are her favorites. The illustrations are bright enough that she names each animal before fitting it in.
