The faster my daughter spins the pendulum the higher that little acrobat lifts his barbell, and she's been testing that out for a solid half hour now. It's a simple wooden toy but watching the cause and effect click for her is worth it.

My four-year-old figured out that spinning it faster makes the acrobat's barbell rise higher, and now he won't put it down. It's a simple wooden toy but the pendulum action really does respond to how hard you twist it.

My nephew figured out pretty fast that spinning the pendulum harder makes the acrobat lift the barbell higher, which kept him busy way longer than I expected. Only thing is the barbell pops off if he spins too wild, but it clicks right back on.
