My daughter spends hours rearranging furniture between all three floors, and the opening panels make it easy for her to reach inside without knocking things over. The attic space is a nice bonus too, she's turned it into a little reading nook for her dolls.
The sliding sashes actually open and shut, which my kids fight over constantly. I wasn't sure about spending this much, but the attic panel that opens up keeps them busy for hours.
Three floors plus the attic gives my daughter so much room to spread out her little furniture sets. The opening panels on each level are genius because she can reach inside without knocking everything over. It's held up great after a few months of daily play.
