Sai quanto fa 10 + 7? E 5 + 6?

My daughter finally gets the idea that 10 plus 7 makes 17 instead of just memorizing it, and she's only five. The number tiles fit snugly in the frame so they don't slide around while she's counting.

The ten frame makes 10+7 click instantly because my daughter can slide the counters into the frame and see the leftover seven. We use it for quick math games after dinner, and the wooden pieces have held up fine through daily handling.
